Message: Answering Velma - Has anyone made money from property in USA? My answer is Yes and No. Yes there was some rent. No, it was only enough to cover expenses, taxes, etc. So I bought another. Supposed to have 4 tenants. When I got it there were none. Then there was a break-in at the 1st property £11,000 bill and not tenantable until it's fixed. Beware.

Message: Ahuja promotes a 4.85% mortgage. But why would you want to pay a 4.85% arrangment fee for a 2 year fixed rate? Why not get a 5.49% rate with only a 2% arrangement fee and NO BROKER FEE.
